5 fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students in 2018

HERE  we will be listing 5 fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students to study in 2018. most of these scholarships  can either be taken in Pakistan and abroad and some are reoccurring scholarships

1.HEC Science Scholarship Scheme for Undergraduate Program in Pakistan

The Higher Education Commission(HEC) of Pakistan is an independent, autonomous, and constitutionally established institution of primary funding, overseeing, regulating, and accrediting the higher education efforts in Pakistan. The HEC Science Scholarship Scheme for Undergraduate Program in Pakistan is scholarship program sponsored by  The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.  The objective of this scholarship  program is to ensure  that the students who have the desire to study science and are outstanding in their studies could be productive scientists for future by developing their critical thinking skills.

2.University of Sussex Pakistan Scholarships, UK

This scholarship is part of a wider initiative to invest in excellence, the University of Sussex offers scholarships worth £3,000 to  students from Pakistan admitted to start an eligible Masters course.  The scholarship is available only to self-financing students. If your tuition fees are funded by an external funding body you will not be eligible to receive the scholarship. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship funded by the University of Sussex. If you have been offered any other Sussex scholarship and wish to accept this award, you will need to decline the other scholarship or vice versa.

3.British Council Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme 2018-19

This  Scholarship Scheme is a grant  by the Scottish Government, specifically in order to create opportunities for young women in Pakistan to be able to pursue higher education at the post-graduate level. The scholarship scheme is specially design for female Pakistani students for master level education and this scholarship is approved by higher education commission of Pakistan in the following fields: 

  • Education
  • Health Sciences
  • Food security and agricultural
  • STEM Engineering
  • Sustainable Energy

4.Transform Together Scholarships for International and European Union (non-UK) Students

Transform Together scholarships are open to international students and European Union (non-UK) students applying to a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate  study at Sheffield Hallam University in the 2017/18 academic year. A half fee waiver (50% discount) is available for postgraduate courses and for each year of an undergraduate degree. Scholarships are awarded to students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement. Applicants also need to describe how they will stand out from the crowd as an ambassador for Sheffield Hallam University during and after their studies.

5.DAAD Scholarships in Germany for Development-Related Postgraduate Courses

The German Academic Exchange Service or DAAD is the largest German support organization in the field of international academic co-operation. The DAAD itself does not offer programs of study or courses, but awards competitive, merit-based grants for use toward study and/or research in Germany at any of the accredited German institutions of higher education. it offers scholarship opportunities in Germany for international students for a range of postgraduate courses at German Universities which aim at providing academically educated young professionals from developing countries with further specialized studies.

The scholarships include monthly payments of 750 euros for graduates or 1,000 euros for doctoral candidates; payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover; and travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.
